About Me

Greetings! Thanks for stopping by. As a father of two energetic young boys and husband to an amazing wife for more than a decade, my work is only a fraction of my passion.

This space began with the title #fromwhereIsit, a hashtag I’ve been using for years to denote imagery as seen literally from where I sit. The phrase also doubled for my perspective on life. Beginning in May 2015, my goal was to chronicle my life lessons while on the road. However, the blog evolved over time to a broader conversation about personal growth and connected communication. I am passionate about people and seeing others succeed. I write to encourage others and challenge their perspectives.

My family

For fifteen years my wife and I have shared tears, joys, struggles and success. She is my biggest fan and closest friend. Together, we’re raising our two boys, Ephram and Ethan. You can almost see their personalities in the photo. They are full of energy, curiosity, emotion and passion.
